College Rugby Tours
A college tour can improve team spirit and identity and provides a rare opportunity for everyone to get to know each other better and establish friendships at home and abroad that can last a lifetime.
England Rugby Colleges provides general advice and specific guidelines for schools and colleges in its rugby tours section, together with useful checklists and information.
The application for permission to tour form should be used to apply for permission for any overseas tour or cross-border fixture within another Union that requires an overnight stay.
The form must be completed and registered no later than one month before the tour’s departure date.
Organising Competitions, Festivals and Tournaments
The RFU requires schools, colleges and clubs to seek permission from their Constituent Body to run tournaments, festivals or competitions for Under 7s to Under 18s where the event:- Consists of six or more teams; and
- Includes teams from outside the organiser’s direct geographical Constituent Body boundary.
